I recieved my MSc. degree with the Fulbright scholarship from Rochester Institute of Technology, NY, USA in Electrical Engineering in 2010. I also recieved my Ph.D. in Microsystems Engineering Department of the same university in 2015. After my doctorate, I have had industrial experiences in various companies as a Senior Engineer in the USA.
I first gained industrial experience in manufacturing fault detection, classification and process control at the world-famous GLOBALFOUNDRIES microchip manufacturing factory in New York. Later, I continued to work as a Senior Data Scientist at the R&D center of ASML-HMI, operating in the Silicon Valley of the USA. I have returned to Türkiye within the scope of the TÜBİTAK project call 2232 International Leading Researchers Program, also known as the reverse brain drain program, opened by TÜBİTAK in 2019, and started to work as a faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department of the Eskişehir Osmangazi University. I recieved my Associate Professorship (Docent) title in August 2023. In April 2023, I was elected as a Senior member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
